Steps for a successful meeting:

•    Make sure you have a new version of Chrome, Firefox or the new Edge browser. Most issues result from having an out of date browser. Do NOT use Safari as it requires additional setup.

•    If you have multiple microphones, the Setting tool in the Tools tab allows you to specify which microphone you would like to use.

•    Instead of asking questions from the floor as you would do in an in-person meeting, you will do this using the chat function and the floor function.  When submitting to the chat or floor, enter your text in the text box and click the dark icon at the right of the textbox to submit.

•    If you have issues during the meeting, you may reload your page. You will lose the chat history, so only use in emergencies.

•    DO NOT open the meeting in additional tabs. You will be disconnected from the meeting in both tabs and will need to log in again. If your name shows as “undefined”, it means you have been disconnected and no longer in the meeting.

•    When presented with a vote, simply click to make your choice. The windows will close for you automatically. If you close the window yourself, you may not re-open it and will have lost your opportunity to vote.

•    If you need assistance click on the red tab on the bottom right-hand side of the screen to open your personal tools bar. Click on the ? button and type in your issue and add your phone number so members of the support team can assist you over the phone.

•    Use the tools provided by the platform; using the tools along the browser may result in being disconnected from the event.

•    If you are disconnected and rejoin you may not see the same page you left or be able to rejoin a poll that had previously been launched.

•    Test your browser; apple products may need additional set ups to work properly.

•    Only voting members (licensed architects) will be able to vote on the live polls.
