NSAA Members Recognized with Maritime Design Awards

At the first Maritime Design Awards presented during the June 1st’s President’s Dinner at the RAIC Festival in Saint John, NB, Maritime design was celebrated for all the country to see.

The projects of the following NSAA members were recognized:

  • Award of Excellence (Public Category): Halifax Central Library, FBM
  • Award of Merit (Commercial Category): Galerie d’Art Beaverbrook Art Gallery Expansion, Mackay-Lyons Sweetapple Architects
  • Award of Merit (Residential Category – Multi-family): Southport, Michael Napier Architecture Inc
  • Award of Merit (Residential Category – Single Family): House in Scotch Cove, FBM
  • Award of Merit (Institutional Category): Charles P. Allen High School, Architecture49
  • Award of Merit (Institutional Category): Bible Hill Consolidated Elementary School, FBM
  • Award of Merit (Public Outdoor/Adaptive Reuse): Kentville Library, Houdini Design Architects
